Thailand: the name evokes vivid images of a multitude of glittering temples, monks with shaven heads of tender green paddy fields and smiling people. Country of contrasts, THAILAND today has much to offer. The past is omnipresent in the colossal statues of stone and gold Chedi.
Serenity, tranquility are the words that occur most often in the minds of travelers to the country's "Million Elephants".

DAY 1: BANGKOK CHIANG MAI Q
Breakfast on board.
Arrival at Singapore airport. Transit and flight to Chiang Mai.
Reception on arrival by your guide and transfer to your hotel.
Thai lunch along the way.
On arrival at your hotel PARK HOTEL (or similar), welcome cocktail.
The hotel is located near the Night Market in Chiang Mai.
Samloo transfer (local tricycle) for Kantoke Dinner, followed by a show of dancing and singing mountain.

DAY 2: CHIANG MAI / GOLDEN TRIANGLE / Chiang Khong

Departure for the Golden Triangle, a region shared by three countries, Myanmar (Burma), Laos and Thailand, famous for its opium traffickers, lush vegetation, and its various ethnic groups ....

Arrival in the Province of the Golden Triangle and installation Lanjia Lodge nestled in a green hill overlooking the whole year Mekong River and Laos, the village is inhabited by members of hill tribes peaceful Hmong and Lahu. The resort is located within the village and has been carefully constructed to blend with local architecture and environment. It consists of four local style thatched cottages, each with a common room and four bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities and standard.
Have a first experience in the shaping of tissues "Hmong Batik" and, at the same time learn to make animal traps.
You will help the villagers to plant trees in the project re-location of plants. This project is dedicated to his Majesty the King in anticipation of his 84th birthday December 5, 2011.

Day 3: Chiang Khong / Huay XAI / PAK BENG
Breakfast at the hotel.
Early morning transfer to Chiang Khong, the border crossing formalities (Lao visa required). You will cross the Mekong to enter Laos and the border crossing at Huay Say your guide speaking Lao.
The Mekong River rises on the Tibetan plateau at 5000 meters altitude. It is called Lancang Jiang (turbulent waters) in China, Mae Nam Khong (sea water) in Myanmar, Thailand and Laos, then takes the name of Tonle Thom (great waters) in Cambodia, to finish his course in Vietnam where it is called Cuu Long (nine dragons), because the river is divided into nine arms in the Mekong Delta.
Transfer to the pier and start slow boat along the Mekong River to Pak Beng destination. Down this mythical river that originates in China and across six countries to empty into the South China Sea is an extraordinary experience. Laos is a landlocked country, the Mekong serves as an inland sea.
When navigating, you can admire the magnificent scenery and wildlife, from time to time see life on the edge and into the river, stop (one to two depending desiderata) to visit the villages.

Arrive late afternoon in Pakbeng large town overlooking the river.

DAY 4: PAK BENG / PAK OU / Luang Prabang
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning, continue your descent of the Mekong River into a new living experience.
The topography becomes more turbulent, the river is bordered by highlands of the tropics, so lush, with sometimes a small village at the bend of a meander.
Lunch during the navigation on board prepared by your host.
Visit Pak Ou caves, which are deposited as an offering thousands of Buddha statues.
Then continue sailing to the village of Ban Xang Hae and its traditional alcohol distillery.
Arrival in Luang Prabang in the afternoon at the pier of Wat Xieng Thong.

Day 5: Luang Prabang

Visit the National Museum located in the former royal palace dating from the colonial French.
Then visit the temples of Wat Mai dating from the late eighteenth century, and the Wat Xieng Thong, which is the sixteenth century. It is without contest the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang and the most famous.

Wat Xieng Thong temple or the royal city, was built in 1560 by King Sitthathirat. Until 1975, the royal family was accustomed to get there from the Palace by river. This is why the staircase leading to the temple from the Mekong is so majestic.

Day 6: Luang Prabang
Breakfast at the hotel.
Continue your discovery with a visit to the village of Ban Phanom and visit the village of silversmiths has Vat That Bane.
